here’s the used to be tag that i posted the other day as my first generation of stamping with distress inks. It’s in my blood, i cannot throw things away. So while this was simple to put together there is a lot that happened here. The edges of the focal image panel are rounded. The stars are embossed with antique gold powder. the background is stenciled, the little brown strip that looks sewn is pierced and faux stitched. the rick rack is tinted with distress ink and the under panel is ripped and distressed edges. It was fun to put all these elements together. I am entering this into Word Art Wednesday #240-#241 and Simon Says Monday Challenge nautical; after all, waaaay back in the olden days all sailing was done by the sun, moon and stars.
