This is the first card that i made with that tutorial on SCS. I just love love love the beautiful lines of this card. I got to use a new “used” stamp set that i purchased at a rummage. I’m not much of a collage stamp person but i did like the simplicity of the postage mark and butterfly with the daisy. I stamped the collage on separate pieces of colored vellum and cut them out. I love how they curled when i dried the ink with a heat tool. I used my Spellbinders border dies to cut the curves. A large background stamp on the one side of the card just blended will with the designer paper i chose. This has the belly band and opens to reaveal a stamped sentiment on a matching piece of DP from another collection.
I am entering this into Simon’s Wednesday Anything Goes challenge this week and Word Art Wednesday.
I love this card! That stamp is perfect for this delicate design as are the colors. That border edge is cool too.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing your card the other day I had to go check and see if I still owned this stamp set. Yep!
