My Favorite Things Color Challenge 194

 

My Favorite Things Color Challenge is always a great source of inspiration.  For this challenge I used all the colors and I know it looks more coral on my photo but IRL it is definitely copic colored with light pink.  I was so glad for this challenge because I never would have thought to put gray in with this and I love the accent it gives.  I used an old MFT stamp set called Fancy Flowers and the dies.  I love how MFT dies cut so close to the image.  I mounted all on the de-bossed side of separate panel that kind of matched these flowers.  Embossing folder from Darice

 

O IS FOR OLD

 O is for Old...Old Fashioned is what I chose.  ABC Christmas Challenge Using that same sweet little gal.  Isn't she cute in her little miniature frame?  I think I've only used that Memory Box die once before.   The scallop die cut is retired from Sweet N Sassy stamps.  I get a lot of use out of that.  To give a bit of texture to the background i used that white ink pad through a MFT stencil. I decided to go a little nontraditional with the color and I like the softness it gives this image.

N IS FOR NEW

N is for NEW at ABC Christmas Challenge this month.  I'm using a new pack of plaid designer paper.  I just love plaids especially at Christmas time and the diagonal print really caught my eye.  I'm using this sweet little girl from Door County Rubber Stamps.  I used a new to me technique by embossing the designer paper with and embossing folder and then going over it lightly with a white ink pad.  It was enjoyable to make this card without rushing at holiday time.  Thank you ABC for helping us with this aspect of the holidays.
