HALLOWEEN FUN

It's fun to make cards for the neighbor kids.  We don't give out candy anymore.  I just give each of the five neighbor kids a cash gift and a card and leave the lights off.  I treated myself to some Halloween stamps from Unity called Little Boos.  The rest of the card is made from scraps and an old Unity stamp i received as a gift.  I used a bit of splatter on this before adhering the little cut out image.  Simon Says Stamp Burnt Orange Card Stock is a MUST for Halloween.

Challenges: Monday Challenge Simon Says Stamp

SPOOKY

SPOOKY It's what's up at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.

I got my cute Little Boo Stamps from Unity and paired with the stencil and mask set from My Favorite Things this turned into a cute card for my daughter. Using the stencil part I painted the center green with a water brush and crushed olive distress ink for a streaky kind of look.  I repeatedly stamped the skeletons and fussy cut one guy out.  He still looked a bit lost and i decided to highlight him with orange and make him glow.  Then the orange sequins kind of finished out the look.  Thanks for stopping by.  BOO!

T is for Tree

T is for Tree this month at ABC Christmas Challenge  I needed a Charlie Brown Christmas card and this tree and all stamps from Judith was so fun to make.  I looked at the video cover for this movie and based my card off from that.  I don't have a Snoopy dog stamp and thought this sweet little mouse looked like he happened upon the tree in the woods and just appreciated it.   The blue background is a stencil from My Favorite things.  The set has the watercolor look of a stencil and a mask both together.  Now looking at this picture I think i need to go in and go over that tree a bit with a brown marker.  Yep, I'm gong to do that.  toodles!

S is for Snow

A few frosty flakes and we have the SNOW challenge covered over at the ABC Christmas Challenge page.  The snowflakes are from some retired company and been in my stash for awhile.  I always love the look of Buffalo plaid and have really gotten my use out of this Buffalo Plaid background stamp from Stampin Up.  I thought this made a nice background for my vintage Frosty to sit on.  He's from Prickley Pear Stamps and may be retired also.  I couple of gems for a bright spot because it's Christmas after all and he was good to go.  Look at Frosty Go!
