Challenges

So many fun challenges this week.  I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Summer Fruit challenge.   Mark’s Finest Papers has a challenge on SpeedyTV for Sparkle and the sketch for this card  is MFT#129

Using the negative cut of the die from My Favorite Things Fish Tail Stax.  My Minds Eye background paper (Thanks Angela Bode) Spellbinders scalloped circle die, GKD ribbon, SU sentiment, EK success scallop punch.  HA HA..I really combined companies for this one.

Fun! Fun! Fun!  this will be my last stamping for a bit as we are going on vacation.  Withdrawals is already setting in.  LOL

Using Kraft

Using Kraft is a challenge for me.  But when I saw this technique posted on Simon Says Summer School video, I thought Kraft would be a good way to try this technique.  My Kraft was just a scrap and I don’t know where I got it but it had a grain to it.  It worked wonderfully well for this application.  This card is created for the Simon Says Stamp Kraft Challenge.  Inside says, what a beautiful difference one single life made.

TRANSPORT

Simon Says Stamp asked for something that could be used as transportation.  I needed some masculine cards and thought the challenge was a good fit for this card.  I got to use up a bit more designer paper.  The dent is miniscule but all the minisucles for the past two years are adding up.  I can finally see a teeny bit of a dent in all that paper. I think I can create for the next ten years w/o buying anymore paper though.   This card measures almost 8 x 4 inches and fits into a business sized envelope.

Simon Says S

The challenge from Simon is to be inspired by the letter S.  The first thing that came to my mind was the word SENTIMENT.  I let this Sentiment speak for itself.  It also is Shimmery and Soft looking .  You can see the challenge by clicking here.  Thanks for stopping by.
