I purchased a stamp set from Gina K and Stamp TV because it had several vertical sentiments in it. They are not used often but it’s nice having the choice and sometimes it’s the perfect way to add a sentiment. BUT…Gina is so practical and this set came with some gorgeous images that have not seen ink in my craft room yet.
This little dragonfly is one of them. I used a tiny bit of stickles on his wing that blended the ink from his wings just perfectly. I also played with another of my Tim Holtz stencils and an acrylic dauber paint from Tim that has never been opened. This is the BEST acrylic paint I have ever used. so soft and not real crunchy when it dries. I’m hooked. yep, you get what you pay for.
Paint scares me... daubers scare me. Paint daubers are just too terrifying. But I don't doubt that Tim's is quality and easy to use. I love how this came out. Great stenciled/painted background!
