while not feeling so much like stamping I did have a bit of time to blog hop and I found this card that I thought was so pretty. Here’s my version. uhm yeah, that white heart…it’s covering up a smudge. Beans, how does that happen? It’s on white cardstock that looks blue for some reason. I will also enter this in the Simon New challenge as I used a new sentiment and an entirely new technique with my new (well they have been here for a year but unopened) Tim Holtz distress stains. I need to do some googling to see what is the difference between the inks in a bottle and the stains in a bottle but I love the colors that’s for sure. Photos don’t do it justice.
I think I am going to make a masculine version of this for my son’s valentine card. he always acts like, no big deal, but secretly I think he is pleased to get his own Valentine in the mail.
Janeen, I'd never have known that white heart didn't belong there! This is a fun design - thanks for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteSuch a neat card. I like the split up layers and the different elements on the different layers. And yeah, we'd never guess that heart was covering up a boo boo.
