playing with inlaids Stamps: Inkadinkadoo #429 & 430

the technique to use your die cut to cut a sentiment and then fill the holes with coordinating color is really fun.  I love the look and feel of this IRL.  Here are two cards I did for the SCS color challenge.  I will send these out to my girls for all the goodies they brought us on Christmas day.   They really are the same color cardstock but it shows up so gray on the one picture.  oh well, it’s pretty even if it was gray.  LOL   I am entering this into Simon’s Monday Challenge something old and something new.  The technique is NEW to me and the stamps are very very old.

  2. They are both great. Kudos to you for not picking the most intricate die you could find to do the inlay technique to. What I like about this technique is you can get two cards out of it. I like that you made your two so different.
