I made a bunch of stenciled with paste back grounds a few weeks ago. They were sitting on my desk bothering me. Everytime I walked in they cried, Use Me, Use Me. I made a concentrated effort to work on the pile that was on my desk. This was a full panel of hearts. I used Martha Stewarts stucco paste. (I wouldn’t recommend it) I tinted it pink for this application. I made both of these out of the one panel. I know the colors look entirely different but they are the same. I am using NBUS tree stamp from Hero Arts and paper flowers that have been in my drawer FOREVER. I will enter these into the NBUS challenge over on Darnells blog. Thanks ever so much Darnell for always encouraging us to USE our schtuffs!
Love the BG you have created and you have put them to good use. Thanks so much for sharing and joining in on the NBUS challenge. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. I pulled out my stencil paste, spatulas and brass stencils. Then I decided that I shouldn't fool myself like that anymore and put it all in the discard pile.
ReplyDeleteI so admire you card artists who work with embossing paste and create lovely cards like this, Janeen! I love the stenciled backgrounds and all the interest you have happening on these two designs! Gorgeous!! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #5!! Hugs, Darnell
