Well it feels like it as the weather outside is frightful. Might just as well make a holiday card. I have only used these recently purchased house mousies once and I had this big oval cut and, well, they just seemed the perfect stamp for last night.
I used the sketch from My Favorite Things as a jumping off point. Maybe I should go ahead and enter this in there. Yep, I think I will. I got those luscious bows on close out at Michaels for like thirty nine cents or some weird cheap number. Figured I could use them for that price. did you ever do that? Colored with those Peerless Water Colors again. So enjoying them. Takes a bit of practice but hey, that’s what we do when we create, eh? The goldish hued papers on either side of the red are Creative Memory Scraps. They did have fabulous papers. I feel badly they went out of business. The oval die is My Favorite Things.
Aww!! How cute is this? I love the fun way you watercolored the image and the fun additions of the colored dots and the shiny ribbon. Adorable card!!
ReplyDeleteI just love this card! I love that you gave your mice a red and green candy cane! Beautiful double bow too!
