Stamp 443 Color Challenge

These colors just didn’t grab my attention at all but it’s a challenge, right?  Let’s see, what, oh WHAT can I do with these colors?  Well, SCS had a nice little sketch this week and that helped me a bit, so I put on my thinking cap and went to work.  I think the last time I really wore a thinking cap was in kindergarten.  We all got to make our own cone shaped ones.  No, they weren’t dunce caps. Nyah-Nyah  I also wanted to play in “shoe girls” ways to use it challenge on Split Coast.  That was to add beads to our project.  I think I only once added beads to my project and they went rolling all over the place and I was finding them for weeks and weeks.  Gave up on that idea real quick.  But these came out of a container that came from SU at a rummage and they had the prettiest wisteria colored ones in there.  That panel with the hearts IS actually wisteria colored but not in the photo, hey?  And IRL the beads match that paper perfectly, instead of the blue they show up as.  IRL I really like how this turned out.   Entering in MFT color challenge.

I figured out a way to get the picture to be more of a true color.  Thanks for looking.  The one on the right is a better indication.

  2. Aiy! Don't get me started on beads rolling around. They are almost as bad as loose glitter but less itchy. Love the card. Isn't it weird how without adjusting the camera your photos take on different hues. Lately mine it picking up the main color in the card and giving everything that same cast. It is so odd.
