Simon’s Monday Challenge is to add texture. I’ve been wanting to use this stencil with some pearlized embossing paste and it was just the little push i needed. It turned out so pretty. I love doing pasted stenciling. The old rose has been in my stash ten or more years. It’s still a classic, it still stamps beutifully and i love all the different colors i can make the flower. Sponged lightly with picked raspberry distress ink.
I was going to comment that your rose stamp is an old one, but you already knew that. Lovely, elegant card. Pearlized was the way to go with that!
