I received so much fun stuff for my birthday. One of the things was a pretty Sizzix embossing folder. I don’t know the name of it but the entire top part is beautiful big flowers. I embossed onto my new designer paper I got from SU. Next I used white pigment ink and dabbed it over the embossing. It doesn’t show up so well on here but it is kind of a cool look. It’s a challenge for me to use dark designer paper but i was pleased with how this card turned out. The Sending die is cut and stacked three times from Simon Says. All the cardstock is from my SU order. My birthday gift to me.

Oh that's right! You just had a birthday. It is good to give yourself a bday gift. I'm thinking some Taylored Expressions stuff myself--have you seen the new out of this world set?! A cow! Being abducted! By aliens!
ReplyDeleteSorry, got distracted. Love this card, that patterned paper makes it and the fact that it is embossed and sponged just brings it all the more to life!
