A winning card

I went to a fabulous weekend stamping retreat in the beautiful Door County.2014-11-01 18.13.4620141031_204648 We had so much fun.  There were more than sixty stampers at this retreat.  Here is a picture of one of the classes and then also some of the projects we did.  Those beautiful sunflower images are by Northwoods Rubber Stamps and sold at Oscar’s Door County Rubber Stamps.  (see the side bar for a picture to click on) Door County Rubber Stamps hosted the fun event.  Oscar had several of the manufacturers that she buys from to come and show us techniques with their stamps.
We had Dream Weaver, Northwoods Rubber Stamps, Susie Louise, Donya.  It was so great.
Anyway, back to the title.  We got this little kit on arrival that we were to use to make a project with.  All I had with me for supplies were…A mini paper cutter, my Scor-Buddy, a tiny embroidery scissors, and adhesive.  The rest came from the kit and I created this three dimensional card which won the $20 second place in a judged contest by the instructors.  It was so exciting to win spending money.  Open-mouthed smile  Here’s the card.  Isn’t it a dandy one?  I am entering it into Simon's Anything Goes Challenge20141101_121144
