Simple Sympathy

i just had to post this.  I love how it turned out.  I had no idea what i wanted to do for this sympathy card for our friend whose dad just passed except I knew I wanted to use the tag with ribbon.  I should make some more of these, however I only had a bit of the CS left that covers the chipboard tag I cut.  I love this beautiful linen finish paper i got at a garage sale.  it was perfect for this card creating a bit of a tapestry effect IRL.   I rarely use my Stamp Scapes stamps but every once in a while they are just the perfect answer. 1. Janeen, your scene is so tranquil! It's perfect for a sympathy card. I love the tag and ribbon! Don't you just love it when you sit down to create and before you know it the craft has taken you somewhere you didn't even know you were going! Gorgeous linen paper! (((hugs)))

  3. This is lovely! The linen adds so much depth to the card. I like to use nature for sympathy cards, too.
