I love love love this set from SU. I have had it forever and I don’t get tired of using it but it has been sitting in the bin for quite a while. It’s one of those keeper sets. It comes with a set of aprons too. Well, I love to hang clothes so maybe that’s why this set always warms my heart.
Simon Says has an Easter/Sweets challenge going on. We always see the bunnies show up at Easter. This little guy must have had someone holding him sticky fingers cuz he needed a wash. The other part of the challenge was to use papers from Basic Grey and I had these from the What’s Up collection.
I stamped the clothes line and poles onto a lighter weight of cardstock and cut the part between the poles out, allowing the background paper to show through. Then I painstakingly paper piece the three hanging images and added a little Simon Mini Heart to the bun-bun.
Tip: rather than cutting out the pieces between the bun’s ears and legs and also on the carrot and pj’s. just stamp the images again on the same color of background paper and cut those out and then glue them in the appropriate spaces. It’s a lot easier than trying to get your scissors into the teeny spots without tearing the image.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteIsn't this cute, Janeen! Thanks for playing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
ReplyDeleteI love the flowered scalloped piece at the bottom, a nice and easy garden. I like your tip for the small spaces. Sometimes I just color them in the same color as the background piece, but you idea is good when you need a better match. fun card! And yes, isn't this a pretty old set???
