Stamp #3

Using an old image from Stamps Happen by Heidi Satlerberg I created a charming snowman that can be used for Valentine’s Day or just a thinking of you.  The entire image includes the grey frame I colored in and also the plaid frame.  Makes for an easy to put together card.  I layered it on a piece of blue gray card stock from Stampin’ Up. One of their IN colors from a couple of years back.  Added some bakers twine and a piece of designer paper that has been in my drawer for about five years or more.  Those papers never get old.  They can always be used.  I had a teeny scrap of this dotted ribbon left and made a bow that required a pair of tweezers to get it looped through but I love the frayed look it has with the patches on the image.  I glittered up the heart and added a couple of pearls.  This has always been a favorite image of mine.  Colored in different colors or mediums and it looks completely different.  The snow flakes with pearl drops on are popped up for dimension.

  2. Oh my gosh! A red snowman stamp. I really like this one. No I mean I *really* like it. So much so I went over to ebay to find one for myself. I like that it has a feel beyond Christmas, like said it can be a thinking of you or love themed card.
